About Fusion Bumpers

Fusion Bumpers builds premium custom bumpers for full size Ford, Dodge, and GM trucks. We design every bumper to compliment the factory body lines of your truck instead of overpowering them. While other manufacturers build bumpers that protrude eight to fifteen inches from the factory profile, our designs stay within two inches of the original lines. The result is a strong, clean, and sleek look that enhances your truck instead of changing its identity.


We are the only high volume bumper manufacturer that allows retail customers to choose from a wide range of unique options. Dealers and truck owners can design a bumper using our templates, select lighting options that match their needs, and choose between raw or powder coated finishes. Customers can reuse the factory fog lights on most applications or have us prepare the bumper for lighting they already own or plan to purchase. This level of flexibility is not offered in the heavy-duty bumper market.

With precise fitment, premium materials, and unmatched flexibility, we give customers the ability to build a bumper that looks like it belongs on their truck.


Every bumper we make carries the Fusion philosophy: clean lines, strong construction, easy installation, and options that put the customer in control.

Craftsmanship and Construction

Fusion Bumpers is Idaho owned and operated. All design and fabrication takes place at our facility in Payette, Idaho. Every part of the bumper is built with strength, longevity, and style in mind.


Key construction details include:

  • All parts are cut with a laser or water jet
  • ¼” full width faceplate
  • 11 ga. gussets
  • 11 ga. trim pieces
  • ¼” mounting points and secondary mounts
  • Grade 8 hardware (where factory hardware is not reused)
  • One inch clevis mount holes
  • Raw steel finish on base bumpers
  • Factory fog light mounts on most applications

Every bumper ships with a sleek fit and easy bolt on installation. No drilling or welding is required. Basic hand tools are all you need, and the necessary hardware is included. We always recommend test fitting your bumper before painting or powder coating. Customers should also inspect the bumper upon delivery and note any visible shipping damage before signing.

Lighting Options and Fog Light Compatibility

Fusion Bumpers specializes in lighting flexibility. Most applications allow customers to reuse the factory fog lights. The exceptions are noted in the drop down menu of each model.

 
We offer the following lighting brands and configurations:

Popular configurations include staggered, 3x3 cubes (Rigid Industries, Baja Designs, Infinite Off Road, and most other brands), staggered 6” single row lights (2 per side), or a single 5” light (round or square).  We also offer round lights from Baja Designs and Rigid Industries. We can make holes and mounts for the Baja Designs LP4 and LP6 or Rigid Industries 360 Series in 4” and 6”. 


We also offer special light configurations i.e. dual 4” E Series vertical or horizontal setups and stacked 6” SR over 6” E Series option. 

Bars, Guards, Winches, and Additional Options

Customers can personalize their bumper with a wide selection of accessories, including:

  • Pre-runner bar or “bull bar” style guard
  • Defender Grille guards (center section only-vertical plates with horizontal bars)
  • Defender Plus Grille Guard (center section and headlight guards)
  • Front receiver hitch options
  • Winch mounts for non integrated, low profile winches. Standard colt pattern 10” and 4.5”

Winch fitment varies by model. Max winch dimensions are listed per model. We carry 12,000 lb and 18,000 lb winches. We recommend calling to verify compatibility, especially for GM models from 2003 to 2007 and Ram 2019 and up. If you want to use a Warn 18,000 lb winch you must call in because they require a unique mounting system.

 
Powder coating is available in black, white, silver, light grey, or dark grey.

Vehicle Fitment

Fusion Bumpers builds fitments for the most popular full size trucks.

Dodge

  • Fits 1500, 2500, and 3500 gas applications up to 2008
  • Uses different hardware for these applications
  • Optional lighting includes Rigid, KC (not available for 1994 to 2002), and Light Force 140 and 170 (not available for 1994 to 2002)

Ford

  • Fits 1999 to 2012 F250, F350, and Excursion
  • Must specify Excursion when ordering

Chevy

  • Fits 2003 to 2012 2500 and 3500 HD
  • Does not fit 1500
  • Factory fog lights cannot be reused on any Chevy application

GMC

  • Fits 2003 to 2007 and 2011 to 2012
  • Not currently available for 2008 to 2010
  • Fits 2500 and 3500 HD only
  • Factory fog lights cannot be reused on 2011 to 2012 models
